Xiem Bat Lifter Tool

A CLOSER LOOK

Read the details.

Xiem's selected bat lifter is a handled manual tool intended to assist with removing a bat from a wheel head. The title and description identify that specific role, distinguishing the product from a removable bat insert, a complete bat system or a pair of mounting pins. The reviewed image shows one complete handled tool, not a supply of replacement ends or equipment for powering a pottery wheel.

The source makes broad claims about sticky bats and heavier work, but does not provide a numerical lifting capacity or a compatibility drawing for every bat edge and wheel-head arrangement. Those claims are not treated as a guarantee that the tool can safely lift any mass or fit any gap. The single dimensional entry also does not establish the working-tip clearance or the correct placement angle. No wheel, bat or finished pottery shown in a use context is confirmed as included equipment.

Choose the tool after checking its actual working profile against the bat-removal method documented for your equipment. Follow the current manufacturer directions rather than using the product name as permission to force a jammed part or support fragile work in an unspecified way. A manual lifter does not prove damage-free release or replace the need to support the actual object appropriately. Keep its placement role separate from a rated lifting device or a universal bat adapter.
