MudTools Shape 4 Firm Corner Rib

A CLOSER LOOK

Read the details.

MudTools' selected B4 is the Firm version of the Shape 4 polymer rib. The source identifies a distinctive corner, two flat surfaces and three curved sections within the profile. Those features give it a different contact geometry from a kidney or bowl rib. The firmness is supported by the title and current variant as well as the descriptive grading information, rather than assumed from the blue color alone.

Compare the edge you intend to use with the transitions or curves in the forms you want to assess. Multiple working sections within one profile can reduce the need to change shapes, but they are not separate ribs and do not establish a five-tool package. Keep the B4 identity with the product when organizing other blue or firm tools. Shape number, material and grade should be checked together if you want to replace a known version.

The maker's Firm label is relative to its polymer range and is not a numerical stiffness or pressure rating. Claims about crisp lines, wear resistance and improved finish are not independent tests for every clay body or stage. No universal material compatibility or prescribed shaping method is supplied. The listing's other flexibility options are alternatives to the selected B4, not extra pieces, and no flawless corner or surface result is guaranteed by the documented profile alone.
