Bkaleme Adjustable Pottery Reference Gauge

A CLOSER LOOK

Read the details.

Bkaleme's selected pottery gauge uses a wooden structure and adjustable pointer arrangement for referencing repeated forms. The source describes a flip-up pointer, wing-nut and hex-nut adjustments, and mounting either at a suitable wheel edge or on a bench. These are two described installation methods for one unit, not two complete gauges in the package. The tool provides a physical reference rather than an automatic copying machine or a powered wheel attachment.

The feature and graduation entry support a nine-inch adjustment-span description, but that wording does not establish calibrated resolution, clamp opening or unobstructed reach in every direction. Check the exact current geometry and mounting hardware before relying on a close fit. A similar-looking dual-arm gauge elsewhere in the catalogue is not automatically the same model; appearance alone does not prove interchangeable parts or a duplicate. No wheel, forming machine or workbench is established as included equipment.

Choose this gauge after confirming that its mounting and pointer movement suit the space beside your work. Follow the current adjustment directions rather than assuming a tightened joint prevents every accidental movement. The seller's identical-form and no-warping statements are not independently tested. A reference tool does not calculate shrinkage or guarantee a final diameter, height or repeat result after the clay is handled, dried or fired.
