MudTools Edgy Firm Polymer Rim Rib

A CLOSER LOOK

Read the details.

MudTools' selected Edgy rib is the Firm polymer version identified in the title and current variant. The source describes the profile around edge rounding, rim refinement and surface finishing. That intended contact role distinguishes it from a broad kidney rib or a long metal scraper. Its blue color belongs to the selected product identity, but the firmness is supported explicitly rather than inferred from a color convention alone.

Compare the documented edge-oriented profile with the part of the form you want to assess. A rim tool and a broad wall-shaping rib are not automatically interchangeable even when both carry a Firm label. Keep the Edgy name and selected grade with the tool when storing it alongside other polymer profiles. If you need a replacement, verify both the profile and relative flexibility instead of choosing any blue rib with a similar apparent size.

Firm is the maker's descriptive grade, not a measured force or hardness specification. The source's references to stiffer clay, crisp lines, burnishing and resistance to wear are not independent results across all clay bodies or conditions. No exact working-edge dimensions are derived from the generic product box measurements. Other grades listed in the family are alternatives rather than extra pieces. This page provides a shopping comparison without a shaping sequence, guaranteed finish or universal material-fit claim.
